LOCATION – Traveling/Project Sites

We do not require you to live in a specific location for this position, but you will be expected to report to one of our current job sites across the US. Job sites will be discussed during interview process.


ABOUT THE JOB


The Tepa Companies offers long-term, premier industrial services to federal and private-sector clients worldwide. Our in-house professionals bring robust self-performance capabilities from storage tank services to mechanical services, coatings and linings and electrical and instrumentation services.


The Project Field Manager will any or all of the following three roles, dependent upon client requirements for each project assigned: Site Superintendent (SS), Quality Control Manager (QCM), and Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO).

In the SS role, the incumbent is responsible for the coordination and oversight of assigned project work site to meet quality, safety, and profit goals to include: supervision and management of site personnel to achieve project objectives; scheduling of all site activities in compliance with federal and state regulations; direction of subcontractors; management of budgets, and interface with Quality and Safety and HHHealth Program Managers.

In the QCM role, the incumbent will ensure that all operations are performed in accordance with the Industrial Services Quality Manual. This position will utilize the Industrial Services’ Quality Program and all of the necessary policies, guidance documents and Standard Operating Procedures to support fuel system services and to achieve profit goals and excellent client satisfaction in alignment with the corporate mission, vision and values of the Tepa Companies. 

In the SSHO role, the incumbent is responsible for managing, communicating, implementing and enforcing compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) EM 385-1-1, Tepa's Accident Prevention Plan and other accepted safety and health submittals.

  • Maintains strict attention to contracts and task orders on-site at all times during the performance of all construction work  
  • Exercises the authority and responsibility to STOP WORK for specific activities related to or affected by, noncompliant conditions until actions can be taken to correct the noncompliant condition or prevent it from affecting related or subsequent work
  • Attends all in-briefs and out-briefs
  • Directs and performs field activities including site management, inspection/repair/construction/ maintenance/demolition oversight, sample collection, data analysis, and report preparation
  • Coordinates technical activities with other professionals and field personnel to accomplish the efficient and smooth implementation of project directives
  • Provides technical supervision and assistance to ensure that project activities are technically valid
