This Finance Business Controller - BI&C CV position will support key financial, commercial, and operational aspects of the largest North American Global Customer Team (deal making, FP&A, budgeting, contract execution and service operations).  The BI&C CV US team is part of a global team, including teams in Asia and Europe. You will report to the BI&C CV US team lead.

The mission of the Global ASML Finance - Business Insights and Control Customer Value (BI&C CV) team is to enable high quality business decisions and execution by providing trusted insights, visibility, and support via challenging and collaboration with the business.  This Finance Business Controller -  BI&C position will support key financial, commercial, and operational aspects of the largest North American Global Customer Team (deal making, FP&A, budgeting, contract execution and service operations).  The BI&C CV US team is part of a global team, including teams in Asia and Europe. You will report to the BI&C CV US team lead.

Role and responsibilities

  • Provide critical business control support to the Global Intel Customer Team, US CS (Customer Service) management, and Finance VDT (Value Driving Team) colleagues with a focus on key areas including Lithography System sales, Field Upgrades and installed base service activities.

  • Support commercial proposals and customer agreements via integral financial insights, deal calculations, and executive level presentation materials to optimize business opportunities and achieve account team and corporate financial targets.

  • Participate in advanced analytic tooling projects (combining business competence with highly automated data-driven technical tooling improvements) and other leading business insight improvement related initiatives.

  • Act as a liaison to drive stakeholder alignment (Sales, CS, VDT, Corp. Accounting, Order Management Desk, Business Lines, Legal, Tax, etc.) to continually improve processes, decision support and instill accountability in financially executing sales agreements.

  • Uphold the Deal Structuring Team (DST) and provide commercial transactional authorizations ensuring adherence to corporate approvals and business policies.

  • Facilitate (plan, report, execute, and drive) the largest North American Global Customer Team to execute financial planning (“MOR, CT PR, TAP”) and achieve key financial objectives (“LE”) and corporate priorities in areas including revenue, margin, cash flow, and managing quarter-end risks.

  • May travel approx. 5%-10% domestic or international and will participate in occasional outside-of-business-hour collaboration calls with Global BI&C Customer Value or other relevant global teams.

  • This senior manager level finance role provides opportunities for longer term future career steps, both in the US as well as international relocation assignments.

Education and experience

  • Minimum Education is a B.S. degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, data science, or related field. Graduate degree is preferred (MBA, MACC, etc.)

  • 7-10 years relevant work experience.

  • Business partner roles with emphasis on supporting: commercial  teams (including complex deal structuring), customer service operations, contract review and execution, short and long term financial planning and reporting (revenue, margin, cash, etc.), and high value financial transaction authorizations and review.

  • Experience and understanding of accounting and tax principles, and achieving key financial objectives and corporate priorities, including revenue, margin and cash flow targets, and managing quarter end risks and opportunities.

  • Work experience in a collaborative global/international finance and or business teams is a plus.

  • Experience handling multiple priorities, and juggling several proposals simultaneously.

  • Semiconductor industry or high tech experience is preferred.

Skills

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite programs and other required software applications

  • Knowledge of backend SAP, reporting systems, and automation software (e.g. Spotfire, Power-BI, RPA) is a major plus

  • Must have strong competency to read and interpret data, information, and documents.

  • Result driven - demonstrate ownership and accountability.
