About the opportunity
Dayforce is looking for a deeply experienced, broad-minded Principal Product Designer to establish creative and strategic design leadership across our entire product suite, with an emphasis on Mobile, Design System, and Consumer Products.
Design at Dayforce is transforming from a legacy approach to “enterprise software” to a contemporary, user- and human-centered practice, recognizing that even HR and workforce management tools should look and work more like consumer software.
To realize this shift requires research and design influence and contributions at the highest organizational levels. Working alongside our leadership team and cross functional partners, the Principal Product Designer leads efforts that cross the entire suite (Dayforce, Dayforce Mobile, Dayforce Wallet, and future offerings), supporting Dayforce’s shift to being an experience-driven enterprise. A facilitative leadership style helps drive this shift with senior design, research, product, and engineering leaders to envision the evolution of our product suite.
This is a leadership role, not a management role. The Principal Product Designer will lead efforts of the entire design team, and occasionally direct efforts of specific sub-teams, but is not expected to manage direct reports.
