The Role
Reporting to the US General Manager AND the Global Franchise Leader for Respiratory products, you will play a pivotal leadership role within the US Commercial organization. Key objectives include driving the portfolio strategy and leading several Brand and/or Portfolio Leads. Your expertise will guide the financial management, alignment and execution, and operational excellence of our portfolio, ensuring we meet our goals and objectives. You will partner with the Global and US Commercial teams to define and implement market level strategies, establish priorities, and allocate resources across brands and key initiatives. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the future of the US Commercial organization’s performance, pipeline execution, market development, and team culture. This role will have dual reporting lines to the SVP, General Manager - US – Commercial and the VP, Global Franchise Leader - Respiratory Inline – Commercial.
Here’s What You’ll Do
Lead the financial management, enhance alignment and execution, and drive operational excellence across all brands.
Partner with Global Marketing and the US Commercial Leadership Team to define and implement market level strategy (aligned to the global brand strategy), including setting priorities and defining resource allocation across brands and key initiatives.
Establish a metrics driven organization where measurement of initiatives and resources define future spends and strategies.
Work closely with each brand lead to develop and execute each brand's strategy, including annual brand planning and operational brand plan development.
Evaluate key business and marketing challenges and direct the development of innovative solutions that drive our strategic plans and operational effectiveness.
Apply your in-depth knowledge of how our marketing function integrates with other business units across the company, and how we differentiate ourselves from competitors, to create a competitive advantage.
Regularly interact with Executive Committee members, key stakeholders, and external partners, influencing and negotiating to drive key business decisions and marketing strategies.
Lead and ensure the success of market development and product promotional plans, budgets, programs, and objectives through collaboration with other functions such as Medical Affairs, Market Access, Global Marketing, Customer Engagement, Operations & Analytics
Guide Brand Leads to ensure best practices and alignment of marketing processes and capitalize on opportunities and synergies.
Lead cross-functional launch strategy for new assets, including scaling the current organization and establishing new capabilities and roles as needed.
Be responsible for leading, developing, and coaching team members within the organization.
Create and maintain a culture of high-performance with integrity and compliance.
Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 20 years of Biotech / Pharma experience
Minimum of 10 years of Marketing experience required, including leading multiple brands.
Breadth of experience across multiple Commercial functions (e.g. – Sales, Marketing, Operations & Analytics, Market Access)

Previous second-line people management experience required.
Adept at creating strategic vision for portfolio and brands; identifies and capitalizes on synergies across stakeholders.
Ability to drive a high-performance culture with organization focused on delivering results, generating insights, and solving complex problems.
Deep marketing experience and establishes best practices across the business.
Proven track record of driving operational excellence.
Experienced in financial management of multiple brands (P&L) and leading annual operating plans and long-range plans.
Strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, processes, timelines, and expectations across stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated ability to process complex information and summarize it in writing and / or verbally; employs active listening skills.
Ability to lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional teams.
