Woodwinds Instructor

Description

We are seeking a skilled Woodwinds Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for running sectionals, assisting at all band practices and performances, and assisting with small repairs to instruments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in marching band and playing a woodwind instrument. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct sectionals for woodwind players to improve their skills and techniques
• Assist at all band practices and performances to ensure the woodwind section is performing at their best
• Assist with small repairs to instruments to ensure they are in good working condition
• Collaborate with other instructors to ensure a cohesive and successful band program

Requirements

• Previous experience in marching band and playing a woodwind instrument preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of woodwind instruments and their maintenance
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best
