Data Analytics/Regulatory Reporting Officer - Merchant Services

We seek to employ a talented Data Analytics/Regulatory Officer, with experience in reporting, who will join the Compliance Department in the fastest growing Merchant Services provider in Greece. The successful candidate will be based in Athens and will be reporting to the Regulatory Reporting Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, and validate data extraction and transformation code to support reports production (regulatory, recurring, ad hoc etc).
• Develop efficient, consistent, and reusable data analysis code across multiple reports.
• Collaborate efficiently with colleagues, providing specifications, data, and validations.
• Maintain documentation on the reporting development procedures.
• Assist in the smooth implementation of the internal timeline and follow up tasks' deadlines assigned to collaborative peers.
• Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding services offered, regulations, best practices, tools, and techniques.

Requirements

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• University Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or other Quantitative sciences.
• A minimum three (3) years of proven experience in coding, data extraction, transformation by handling large databases in a complex business environment. 
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
• Experience with Python language, (preferably with xml parsers) and with Visualization tools, (PowerBI, Tableu etc).
• Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written.
• Eligible to work in the EU on full-time permanent basis without the need of employer sponsorship.
