The Product Specialist is responsible for launching new university websites, managing and enhancing existing sites, and supporting the strategic product roadmap by owning specific features. This role collaborates closely with the Manager, Product, IT, and cross-functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable digital experiences for students, parents, universities, and property clients. This is a highly cross‑functional role ideal for someone who can manage multiple projects and deadlines, communicate confidently with both internal teams and clients, and balance day‑to‑day execution with strategic product thinking.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the end‑to‑end implementation and launch of new off‑campus housing websites, including working directly with university clients through launch, and overseeing ongoing updates and enhancements to existing websites.
Own assigned product features and enhancements by developing implementation plans, coordinating execution across teams, and delivering on roadmap priorities.
Serve as the day‑to‑day product expert for websites, managing questions, site updates, and enhancement requests from internal teams and clients.
Partner cross‑functionally with Product, IT, University Accounts, Sales, Strategic Partnership Development, and Customer Support to identify needs, resolve issues, and support product decisions.
Support testing and monitor user experience, gathering and synthesizing feedback to drive continuous product improvement.
Support product launches and communications, including internal enablement, launch‑specific messaging, transactional emails, and system or feature update communications.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (External Applicants)
Two or more years of experience in product management, project management, website implementation, or a related digital role.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Communications, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited, not‑for‑profit in-person university or college.
