The Graduate Assistant, Visualization Specialist will build visualizations and dashboards for program review and assessment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Integrate and transform data from multiple university systems including student information systems, learning management systems, and other enterprise databases.
- Collaborate with academic affairs, student affairs, and administrative units to identify reporting needs and translate them into effective data visualizations.
- Ensure dashboards are accessible and embedded within SharePoint and public-facing web platforms as appropriate.
- Maintain and update existing dashboards to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with evolving institutional priorities.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data sources, dashboard logic, and reporting definitions
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
- Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semester).
- Must be in good academic standing.
