Compensation
At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $39600 - $49500. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Are you passionate about Facilities Maintenance? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our Facilities function. As a Maintenance Service Specialist, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. Our Maintenance Service Specialist coordinates the administrative operations for the Facilities function. The position is responsible for supporting a variety of administrative functions, including help desk support, procurement, training coordination, vendor coordination, and KPI reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule all preventive maintenance (PM) activities to ensure timely completion
Ensure all required parts, tools, and materials are available and properly kitted before scheduled maintenance.
Monitor PM compliance and report on completion rates and outstanding tasks.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to meticulously track all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Maintain accurate records of PM schedules, parts usage, and kit preparation.
Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to schedule maintenance tasks efficiently.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance workflows and reduce delays.
Act as the primary point of contact for PM coordination between operations, maintenance, and stockroom teams.
Coordinate with external service providers for preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
Develop and manage the annual schedule for preventative maintenance activities, coordinating with external vendors as needed to ensure necessary (PM) preventative maintenance tasks are completed.
Compile month-end reports for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the facilities function.
Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with others.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
1+ years of demonstrated experience in maintenance coordination or related field.
Experience working with procurement processes, particularly in Oracle or similar systems.
