Job Description

The Business Services Manager is responsible for coordinating with Business Services Technician, Materials Management Specialist, plant staff, corporate accounting and corporate financial services to facilitate day-to-day, weekly, monthly quarterly and annual administrative and financial accounting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In depth knowledge of purchasing and accounts payables.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop, manage, and execute procurement strategies for equipment, services, and materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Maintains accurate financial records on all site inventory and leads annual physical inventory counts.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining financial reports and analysis, financial forecasting and variance reports.
  • Helps to establish and track sites annual expense budget and tracks performance regularly.
  • Regulatory and compliance reporting
  • Manages and tracks sites capital expenditure projects
  • Familiarity with systems such as Maximo, Peoplesoft, JDE and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Relationships

The Business Services Manager reports to the Plant Manager. The Business Services Manager cooperates with the Sr. Manager Operations and Maintenance, Sr. Plant Engineer and others as needed in the daily operation of the plant.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Physical requirements include the possibility of standing on feet for extended periods of time requiring stair and ladder climbing.
  • Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as determined by plant policies and procedures.
  • Position may require working extended hours, weekends and holidays from time to time as deemed necessary by plant manager.
  • All employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program.  This program includes a post-offer physical examination and drug screening. There are extensive smoking restrictions in and around the facility.

Education

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of financial and accounting experience

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, financial analysis software, procurement systems).

Attributes:

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

We offer a competitive salary range of $98,000 to $142,250 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
