Körber Technologies, Inc., a Sales and Service Company serving the North American Tobacco Industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a Quality Specialist/Lean Expert to join our team. As a Quality Specialist/Lean Expert, you will be working to maintain and improve KTEUS quality management system in accordance to ISO 9001:2015 (or its latest version) internal requirements.

 

Your role in our team

• You will prepare and conduct monthly Quality reports; KPI tracking with analyses.
• You will prepare and conduct annual Management Reviews.
• You will coordinate with management and process owners the creation, process review, publication, training and maintenance of process documentation; document these activities.
• You will work with management to establish quality objectives for the year; publish them; track, document and report the accomplishments toward its completion.
• You will promote awareness of quality management system and activities throughout the organization.
• You will work with management to maintain the company Quality Policy over time.
• You will monitor and assist as necessary in maintenance, tracking and resolution of Complaint Management System events.
• You will monitor performance of part and product inspections, and rework or corrections resulting from them.
• You will establish, maintain and improve KTEUS ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

 

Your profile

• You have a BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
• You have a minimum of three years’ related work experience.
• Your experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Your experience with AutoCAD, Visio, Sycat, and SAP is a plus.
• You have experience with critical tasks and responsibilities that include; Analyzing information, reporting research results, documentation skills, promoting process improvement, safety management, managing processes, manufacturing methods and procedures, supports innovations, understanding of LEAN and ISO 90001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
• You are self-motivated, can work independently, multi-task, and have excellent time management and communication skills.
• You possess a good working knowledge of quality systems and in-process control techniques.
• You have related experience to support assembly, machining, and logistics operations through work cell design, development and improvement, including areas of time studies, process evaluation, and plant layout to improve workflow and plant system efficiencies.
• You are familiar in LEAN concepts with the knowledge and ability to apply these concepts throughout the company.
• You can facilitate and/or conduct LEAN training programs, LEAN projects, and Kaizen blitzes throughout the company.
