Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and tech-savvy Healthcare Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our members, vendors, and partners. The ideal candidate will have prior experience using RingCentral or similar cloud-based phone systems, a strong background in customer service, and the ability to manage high call volumes efficiently and courteously.
Key Responsibilities:
Phone & Communication:

Answer and route a high volume of incoming calls using the RingCentral phone system

Screen and direct calls appropriately, taking accurate messages when needed

Monitor voicemails and ensure timely callbacks and follow-ups

Provide information to callers regarding clinic hours, services, policies, and appointments
Patient Interaction:

Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

Check patients in and out, ensuring all information is accurate and complete

Assist with scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments

Handle inquiries related to insurance, billing, and basic medical services
Administrative Duties:

Maintain front desk operations, including faxing, scanning, and filing documents

Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays or other payments
-
Maintain confidentiality of all patient records in compliance with HIPAA

Support clinical and administrative teams as needed with additional tasks

Assist the HR department as needed and requested
Required:
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting

Proven experience using RingCentral or similar VoIP communication platforms
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in using basic office software (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace)
Preferred:

Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) a plus

Knowledge of medical terminology

Qualifications
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently

Experience working in a remote environment or with remote teams

Positive attitude, dependable, and adaptable to changing priorities
