Here at Cher-Make, our Production/Packaging Supervisor is responsible for facilitating the safe and efficient functioning of the packaging department by implementing schedules and plans, maintaining equipment, monitoring  results, and supervising a team of up to 30.  If you strive for excellence, have a passion for safety, and believe in continuous process improvement, we want to talk to you!

What You’ll Do:

 

• Monitor the setup of packaging lines at the start of shift and start of every new product
• Perform light maintenance work and troubleshooting on equipment
• Proactively anticipate production or scheduling issues to prevent downtime or quality problems.
• Supervise packaging production personnel

What You’ll Bring:

 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to tolerate cold temps – will work in temps as cold as 36 degrees
