Position Overview

The Student Services Coordinator Internship Coordinator for the G. Brint Ryan College of Business will assist undergraduate students with the internship requirements and processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field and two years' of student services, student affairs, counseling, advising, or related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a business environment.
  • Experience in higher education and/or internship programs.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinates the for-credit College of Business internship approval process with students, staff, faculty, internship supervisors, employers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Initiates, processes, reviews, monitors, troubleshoots, and approves formal requests for student internships within short deadlines.
  • Interacts with and meets students in person and online for individual guidance and mentoring throughout the internship process.
  • Collects and organizes accurate electronic records to track the activities, participation, and status of individual students for internships and practicums.
  • Prepares and conducts presentations and workshops for students, faculty, and staff on internship programs and resources.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, occa
