The Enterprise Information Architect role is responsible for designing and implementing the overall strategy, architecture, and standards for managing information flows and connects within and between solutions.  This role will bring a strategic enterprise perspective to how information connects between solutions and the information flows through seamless user experience, leading to connected experiences. This role collaborates with and facilitates the connection of business and technical stakeholders in architecture practice, application delivery, UX and Enterprise Data Organization teams, to ensure that information is collected, stored, and used in a way that aligns with the organization's goals.

This role will also provide information architecture vision, leadership, mentoring, training, structure, and contribute to the maturity of our architecture practice and discipline and accelerate value creation. The role will partner with the Data Architecture team and collaborate effectively in driving the information architecture for the organization. 

Essential Functions 

•              Establish, publish, and socialize information architecture standards, models, principles, and reference patterns to accelerate the delivery of solutions and integration of information between them.

•              Optimize information flows between applications through the user experience.

•              Strong facilitation skills to connect stakeholders and drive collaboration.

•              Collaborate with the Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) to ensure application information flows align with EDO Canonical Models and Standards.

•              Develop and maintain an Enterprise Information Roadmap that outlines the long-term vision and strategy for the flow of information through solutions to the user experience.

•              Providing training, leadership and mentorship to other professionals and architects within the organization

•              Facilitate the ongoing evolution of domain models, capability maps, and context views from both a business and technical lens.

•              Increase maturity of our architecture practice.

Incidental Functions 

•              Provide technical leadership and assistance to projects outside of architecture as identified by leadership

•              Take initiative to learn, research, and communicate new concepts, ideas, and technologies

•              Facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items

•              Maintain current knowledge of the technology workspace in terms of current state, future possibilities, forthcoming technologies, and their relevance and impact

•              Conduct research into new applications, tools, components, and frameworks

•              Lead presentations that effectively communicate ideas, manage change, and persuade others to action

•              Participate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy

Position Requirements 

Formal Education & Certification

•              Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience. 

•              TOGAF, CEAP, CEDA, CDMP, CBDA or similar certification a plus.

•              CSM, SAFe, ITIL, APQC, or similar training/certifications a plus.

Knowledge & Experience

•              12+ years IT experience. 

•              8+ years of administration or engineering expertise with Information Management

•              8+ years of Architecture experience in the discipline of Information Architecture

•              Experience applying systems thinking to create technical models, reference architectures

•              Experience in the architecture and development of large-scale, high-risk, strategic Information Management Programs

•              Experience creating and maintaining Enterprise Information Roadmaps

•              Strong understanding of Cloud-native information architectur
