In this strategic role, you will own the end-to-end quality process—from strategy conception to execution—while driving innovation across our QA practices.  You will build and refine guidelines, spearhead process improvements, and ensure our releases consistently meet the highest standards of excellence. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record  of defining and implementing quality best practices, hands-on experience in test automation, experience mentoring team members, and promoting excellence and continuous improvement across QA discipline.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li> <strong>Quality Management and Strategy</strong>: You will actively participate in defining and implementing the QA strategy, ensuring that quality standards and best practices are effectively integrated throughout the entire development lifecycle.</li> <li> <strong>Automation Design and Execution</strong>: You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing to validate services' functionality, reliability, and performance. You will contribute to decisions regarding architecture, tools, and scope to maximize efficiency and coverage.</li> <li> <strong>Technical Leadership and Mentorship</strong>: You will act as a technical reference for the QA team, guiding them in solving complex challenges, promoting good coding practices, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.</li> <li> <strong>Driving Continuous Improvement</strong>: You will actively contribute to continuous improvement by researching, prototyping, and implementing new technologies and methodologies that optimize quality processes from a technical perspective and help to reduce technical debt within a fast-moving, agile environment.</li> <li> <strong>Strategic Collaboration</strong>: You will work closely with product, DevOps, and development teams to ensure that technical quality is a fundamental pillar in day-to-day decision-making, and that our CI/CD process is effective and reliable. </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Experience with front-end web application test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, JestJS, Postman</li> <li>Experience on API testing, integration testing, and regression testing.</li> <li>Solid experience with debugging, log analysis, and root cause investigation of application issues.</li> <li>Track record in defining, implementing, and optimizing quality strategies for software systems.</li> <li>Solid understanding of CI/CD, version control, and modern software development practices.</li> <li>Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting.</li> <li>Experience coping with and reducing technical debt within fast-moving application environments.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, process improvement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p><ul> <li>A strong grasp of formal testing fundamentals (ISTQB certification is a plus).</li> <li>Familiarity with advanced testing areas like web performance (Core Web Vitals) and security testing (SAST/DAST).</li> <li>Experience with our tech stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), X-Ray, or DataDog.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p></p><h3>WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN US?</h3><p>Growth and career development</p><ul><li>At Leadtech, we prioritize your growth.
