Director of Activities

Hillcrest Health and Living is currently seeking a Director of Activities to join our leadership team at Hillcrest Health and Rehab Bellevue, NE.
The Director of Activities is responsible for developing, planning and directing the recreation programs to ensure the patients’ needs are met.
Pay: $20.50 - $25.11 per hour based upon experience and education.

What are my responsibilities?
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills to problem solve needs of the department and take initiative to implement objectives resulting in favorable outcomes.
• Clearly and professionally communicates with team members the expectations, needs and issues related to their tasks.
• Total fiscal management of the department.
• Ensuring the therapeutic recreation section of the MDS is completed accurately and timely.
What do I need to be considered?
• STAR mentality (Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful).
• Completion of NNFA Activity Director Training Program required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation preferred.
• At least two years supervisory experience in a long term care setting or other health care related setting.
• At least two years’ experience in performing recreational duties in a long term care setting or other health care setting.
