You don't have to tick <em>all</em> the boxes right away; the important thing is that you’re willing to learn. Here’s what the team will be looking for:</span></p> <span>👉 Proven backend development experience: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java/C#, Ruby, or Node.js, with a track record of building efficient and reliable backend systems</span> <span>👉 API development expertise: Familiarity with API design principles, including authentication (OAuth, JWT), versioning, error handling, rate limiting, and security best practices</span> <span>👉 Collaborative mindset: Ability to work effectively within a team, taking direction, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the success of joint projects</span> <span>👉 Focus on quality and testing: Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and ensuring high standards in code quality and reliability</span> <span>👉 CI/CD familiarity: Understanding of continuous integration and deployment automation concepts to streamline development workflows</span> <span>👉 Adaptability and resilience: Comfortable navigating changing requirements and fast-paced environments, with experience working in Agile settings using tools like JIRA and Git</span> <p><span>Equally important is attitude.
