Zund Operator / Inspection Tech
This role is located at our manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY, and will report directly to the Digital Manager.

Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
• Read and understand specs for cutting on a digital cutting machine (Zund table)
• Operate machine to cut individual job files from digitally printed materials, such as wall covering, PVC Sheets, Tacwall, Sintra and Plastics
• Access applicable computer program to resize or draw geometric shapes to the size needing to be cut
• Remove cut parts from the cutting bed of machine
• Build custom crates for shipping materials
• Basic tool work to swap out various cutting blades/ bits
• Inspect jumbo rolls of digitally printed material for print quality
• Cut in 50+ yard bolts
• Visual inspection of material for non-conforming goods
• Report good vs. scrap yardage
• Box and place on skids
• Take completed orders to and from the Shipping department
• Other duties as assigned by management
Skills & Qualifications:
• Forklift trained
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without strain
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure
• Basic computer skills to navigate specific job files
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled work area
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to pass a Physical, drug test and background check
