Yard Laborer

LeMay, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a full time Yard Laborer to join our team in Lacey, WA. This is a full time, long term position with benefits!

The schedule will be Monday – Friday, 7am- 3:30pm. Pay will be around $25-26 per hour, depending on experience.

This is a labor-intensive position requiring regular heavy lifting.

Responsibilities Include:

• Litter control and clean up
• General site cleanliness, maintenance, and organization
• Variety of general building maintenance tasks
• Assist with compliance inspections and correct deficiencies
• Assist with cart and container processes when needed
• Other tasks and duties as assigned – must be flexible  

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of work experience.  Preferably in a labor/operator type position.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout the entire shift
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and powered hand tools.
• Ability to safely use outdoor power equipment and outdoor hand tools.
• Ability to use portable or stationary pressure washer for equipment, site, and building maintenance.
• Ability to use floor scrubber and/or other means to maintain parking lot cleanliness.
• Ability to use a forklift when necessary - training provided.  (Willing to be trained in fall protection and use of aerial lift equipment preferred but not mandatory.)
