Job Family Definition:
Defines, manages, and evaluates business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against defined strategic objectives. Leads and partners with cross-functional teams to develop short-term (typically less than two years) business plans and supporting data-driven models. Prepares comprehensive implementation tactics, including execution plans, resource allocation plans, follow-up guidelines, assessment, and process accountabilities. Ensures that business activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders. Sets business metrics, evaluates actual performance, and makes recommendations to business leaders on performance target achievement. Develops data-driven analyses to optimize resources and ensure that business plans can be translated into financial value.

Job Description:
The WW Storage Business Development Lead will be managing Primary Block Storage portfolio, responsible for defining GTM business strategy, driving sales execution and support internal customers on various initiatives and meet financial target. This role is expected to collaborate with all HPE Geo category and sales organizations, as well as GBU product management and other functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Strategic planning
- Develops strategic business plan from complex data and business analyses, including both annual GTM strategy and in-quarter close gap plan.
- Conduct regular business performance review based on financial models and sales pipeline data.
- Establish and tracks metrics, goals, and benchmarks for key business initiatives.
Business Development
- Identifies and develops new markets, industries, use cases and business opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Conducts market analysis to identify trends, customer needs and competitive positioning.
- Creates end-to-end sales programs or tactical incentive programs that add value to sellers.
- Builds strong relationships with Geo sales, presales, category, partners and other business stakeholders to drive business growth.
Sales and Marketing Support
- Conducts effective and efficient communication to the direct and indirect sales teams on product strategies and GTM initiatives.
- Assists sales with development of sales training materials, distributor, and reseller business development.
- Influences and execute marketing strategies and tactics that lead to measurable business result, share gains, and customer/partner engagement.
- Supports eco-system solution joint GTM with other technical Partners and aligns the common business objectives.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years total experience in an International environment is required.
- 5+ years in sales, category, or GTM role is preferred.
