Get To Know The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will be occupy a very senior Business Analyst role and focus on highly visible, complex and critical business priorities. The role will not only work all aspects of the requirements practice but also lead a sub workstream in the Workplace Solutions/Retirement space. You will forecast and establish plans for defining, delivering, enabling and supporting significant information technology and delivery components for sub workstreams. You will work between business partners and the IT organization and set direction and guides teammates through complex requirements, procedures, and processes to optimize systems integrations.

The Contributions You'll Make:

  • Responsible for coordinating project team, assigning individual responsibilities, securing necessary resources and developing/monitoring schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Work between business partners and technical teams to translate requirements back and forth in audience sensitive language.
  • Effectively coordinate activities, be familiar with scope, objectives, and timeline, as well as the role and function of each team member.
  • Work all aspects of the requirements processes ensuring plans and deliverables align with stated requirements.
  • Identify risk areas and proactively determines appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate initiative status, discuss issues, research alternative approaches, and provides suggestions/guidance to team members.
  • Work closely with other business analysts and technical teams, attend meetings, review/translate business requirements into technical/system specifications.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to financial business users.
  • Assesses the business and organizational implications of key application initiatives to recommend appropriate strategic action.
  • Facilitates continues process improvements within team.
  • Determines organizational impact of software maintenance issues and develops overall strategy to address them.
  • Integrates activities with business units and collaborates to ensure project costs and schedules are properly estimated and controlled.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience

  • BA/BS in Computer Science/Information or IT related area plus 5 or more years in retirement services

  • Experience with Workplace Solutions/Retirement business and technologies

  • Experience with retirement services and recordkeeping systems

  • Strong experience with MS Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint

  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent analytical ability, facilitative, consultative, communication skills, and strong judgement.

  • SDLC, Agile, Waterfall methodologies familiarity is a plus

  • Project financial management (e.g. forecasts vs actuals) is a plus

  • Experience with OMNI systems is a big plus
