The opportunity to join our team
As the leader of workplace client services, you will be responsible to deliver on complex production/administrative support functions and change initiatives accurately and safely. Managing a team of 16 analysts, the ideal candidate will have strong people management experience, effectively leading a team to handle complex business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of analysts in implementing change initiatives within Workplace Operations, exemplify our principles, drive transformation, and enhance team engagement, skills, and performance.
- Continuously improve processes, standards, and quality by integrating enterprise-wide and industry-leading practices to address the evolving needs of the business.
- Develop and maintain frameworks and processes to ensure that delivery tasks are executed and measured effectively, achieving high-quality and efficient outcomes.
- Encourage ongoing enhancement and agile practices (or other frameworks) to improve capabilities and delivery effectiveness.
- Oversee resource allocation and change management across multiple initiatives, balancing business requirements with team skills and individual development, while resolving issues and conducting regular reviews with the Head of Plum Super & Workplace Operations to address goals, budgets, targets, and risks.
What you will bring:
- Proven experience as a manager or lead in either Operations or Delivery team
- Strong understanding of system interfaces, platforms, databases and financial data flows is required.
- Advanced Excel skills and system/platform knowledge for troubleshooting and coaching are required, with a mandatory background in superannuation.
- Proficiency in writing and presenting board papers, along with database reporting up to the board, is essential.
- Understanding of superannuation rules and regulations (mandatory).
- Knowledge of superannuation administration processes (mandatory).
- Knowledge of defined benefit superannuation funds (mandatory).
- Familiarity with ATO Superstream Data Standards (preferred).
