Current opportunity: Worklife Consultant
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid in office 3 days a week
What you will do:
Worklife Consultants will be working in a call center environment (HYBRID POSITION) and be our Military members’ first point of contact when they are looking for day to day assistance. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and are expected to maintain high quality, top customer service, and practice WPO's core values.
Your main tasks will be to assess our member’s needs asking targeted questions and providing resources and referrals in their community. Common topics of research include various child care, daily living, elder care, legal/financial referrals.
In addition to completing telephonic intakes and research & referrals, the consultant may be asked to participate in additional tasks.
Responsibilities:
Intakes/Consultations
All consultants are required to receive incoming calls to determine a client’s needs and document needed resources to be researched.
- Demonstrate high-quality customer service through use of empathy and active listening to guide conversation
- Obtain required demographic information
- Ensure all entries are complete and accurate in multiple case management systems
Research & Referrals
All consultants are required to complete cases that produce appropriate community resources based on the client’s need.
- Meet deadlines to ensure timeliness of research
- Produce grammatically correct and error-free cover letters and referrals
- Ensure all resources are inputted into case management systems correctly
- Maintain communication with clients through quality assurance procedures
Qualifications/Skills:
To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
- Must be US Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Time management
- Professionalism and customer service experience
