This position is primarily responsible for supporting development of the Raytheon work transfer process. In addition, as a member of the work transfer team, you will lead projects including a cross functional team of individuals from Supply Chain, Quality Engineering, Program, Procurement, and Supplier Assurance. You will be responsible for oversight, monitoring, and maturation of the effectiveness of work transfers.
This position is remote with flexibility in home location. Domestic travel is required up to 15%.
What You Will Do
Support development of Work Transfer process maturity focused on Supply Chain and supporting Quality and Engineering teams
Support Work Transfer alignment across business units within RTX
Frequent communication to internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions, management levels and aerospace/defense supply base
Provide project management and team leadership in order to successfully execute work transfers
Understanding and mitigating key risks and timing constraints related to work transfer projects
Apply the CORE tools and methodology to increase efficiency and maturity
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Project/team management leadership experience
Process development and implementation experience
Experience with risk and opportunity management
Experience with manufacturing processes and related systems
Experience with supply chain processes and related systems
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Qualifications We Prefer
Masters in Engineering /Technical or MBA
Experience with production location moves
Experience in aerospace/ defense product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test, and delivery
Practical experience with commercial and aerospace / defense regulations and standards or a commercial equivalent - i.e., AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000, AS9145
Experience with data collection, analysis, and governance
Raytheon CORE certification or similar industry standard (Six Sigma, etc.)
