EquipmentShare is searching for a Wire Harness Assembler for our Wire Harness Manufacturing location in Columbia, MO as our team continues to grow.
EquipmentShare is seeking a Wire Harness Assembler to be responsible for working with a team of professionals to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards. Assemblers will also assist in troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, wiring or electrical systems background, and a passion for precision and attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Desired, but will train; Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
- Cut, strip, and crimp wires according to specifications
- Assemble wire harnesses by hand, using a variety of tools and equipment
- Install completed harnesses into our products, ensuring proper fit and function
- Troubleshoot and resolve any wiring or electrical issues as they arise
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure product quality and performance
- Work with various wire harness processing machines

Skills & Qualifications of a Wire Harness Assembler
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude, wiring or electrical systems background preferred
- Desired but will train: Read wiring diagrams and schematics
- Ability to use crimping tools, wire cutters, and other hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
