We are seeking a Warehouse Utility Operator based in our Byhalia, MS Factory. The position is scheduled for Monday- Friday, from 6:45AM – 3:15PM.

What you bring:
- Minimum 1 year of recent leadership experience as a lead or supervisor.
- Minimum 1 year of recent dispatch experience.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience.
- Proficient in SAP, preferably RockBiz.
- Strong skills in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, and Access.
- Experience operating forklifts and clamp trucks safely.
- Knowledge of effective employee relations practices.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions, including run sheets and Vanload sheets.
- Skilled in counting and performing cycle counts accurately.
- Ability to develop a collaborative and team-oriented department.
- Strong teamwork skills to identify and solve problems effectively.
What you will be doing:
- Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Enter shipment details correctly into SAP.
- Track and update trailer status on company property.
- Assist in training warehouse employees.
- Serve as a backup for the Receiving Clerk, Inventory Control Clerk, Warehouse Operator, and Warehouse Supervisor when needed.
- Ensure the dispatcher office runs smoothly and stays organized.
- Act as a point of contact for outside vendors and carriers, maintaining strong communication and a customer-focused approach.
- Coordinate with Forklift Operators to ensure efficient product movement into storage, pre-load, and live-load areas.
- Load trucks when necessary and complete paperwork accurately as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Provide task direction, strategic guidance, and training for employees in the assigned area.
- Train and oversee staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workplace safety, including onboarding new employees.
- Manage and maintain inventory movement when needed.
- Support continuous improvement and development of the warehouse registration system.
- Prepare daily reports and track warehouse shift performance.
- Regularly clean the warehouse and shipping area throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment using the 6S approach.
- Must be forklift certified
