The Warehouse Technician plays a key role in Evonik’s supply chain by managing inbound and outbound logistics activities at the Specialty Additives site. This position is responsible for order fulfillment, shipping/receiving operations, inventory control, and warehouse organization. The Technician ensures compliance with DOT and hazardous material standards while driving operational excellence through safety practices, TPM initiatives, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute all inbound/outbound shipping, receiving, and material handling processes
Pull orders, stage containers, and load/unload trailers while maintaining DOT compliance
Perform accurate cycle counts and SAP transactions to ensure inventory accuracy
Conduct safety checks, equipment inspections, and maintain warehouse cleanliness
Verify hazardous materials meet DOT/RCRA standards prior to shipment
Participate in TPM initiatives and drive focused improvements in warehouse operations
Attend and complete all required training sessions for certification maintenance
Collaborate with site personnel for smooth warehouse and logistics operations
Support continuous improvement through audits and process optimization

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Forklift certification preferred
Strong attention to detail with basic computer and SAP skills
Effective communicator with a strong safety mindset
Dependable team player with a proactive attitude

Summary Compensation & Benefits:Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
