Warehouse Specialist- Temp

Our partner is currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist- Temp located in Texarkana, TX. This role primarily involves material handling and distribution responsibilities. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to MIL-STD 129N requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Identification, examination, classification, acceptance, rejection, and proper disposal of materials according to relevant regulations.
• Execution of visual and measured examinations under the guidance of senior staff.
• Loading and unloading materials from skids, pallets, and stands.
• Proficient operation of tools and equipment essential for job tasks.
• Utilization of automated supply systems, including DSS, for data input and retrieval.
• Responsible operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) with an appropriate license.
• Counting, weighing, recording data, and application of tags and labels.
• Application of basic inspection/examination methods for materials.
• Interpretation of specifications, drawings, prints, schematics, and photographs.
• Generation of reports related to distribution functions.
• Performance of preventive maintenance adjustments on equipment.
• Completion of other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Mandatory possession of a High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 3 years of specific experience in material handling, supply, distribution, inspection, or related domains.
• Proficiency in utilizing Distribution Standard System (DSS) and other automated distribution systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Exhibit a team-oriented attitude and adeptness in collaborating within a team.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Capability to acquire a license for Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Requirement for a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license.

Security Clearance:

This position necessitates U.S. Citizenship, a US Government background check, and potentially a US Government SECRET Clearance. In cases where a SECRET Clearance Level is needed, candidates must either currently hold a US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or successfully undergo a U.S. government-administered Investigation.

Physical Demands:

The role may encompass occasional standing, walking, sitting, utilization of hands/fingers, operation of office equipment, reaching, stair climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, speaking, hearing, tasting, or smelling. An ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds is mandatory.

Work Environment:

The role is situated in a shop/warehouse environment, frequently involving repetitive motions and extended periods of standing. Adequate physical strength is required for lifting up to 50 lbs overhead and/or in repetitive cycles.
