MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Portsmouth, VA. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain documentation for audits and compliance reviews and apply accurate labels to materials, bins, and shipments

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or electronic systems

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies

  • Coordinate with team leads and supervisors to ensure timely material availability

  • Ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices to prevent material degradation and all materials are properly identified and traceable

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and inspect for damage or discrepancies

  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements and generate and maintain shipping and receiving documentation

  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production, training, or other departments

  • Support kitting operations by assembling and verifying kit contents

  • Perform duties of Material Handling Laborers as needed, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE

  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with SOPs, WIs, and regulatory standards

  • Report safety incidents, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations promptly

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, follow all safety and conduct rules, and comply with company policies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory operations

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
