Job Description

The Manager, Warehouse position, within the Roofing Target Market, is responsible for the warehouse facility and for the warehouse staff and inventory within. This position manages the operational aspect of the warehouse facility and promptly, neatly, and accurately ships product from it. Emphasized in this is inventory control and complete, on time shipping of orders. This position reports to a Supply Chain Manager.

• Train, mentor, and coach warehouse staff
• Train and supervise temporary Shipping/Receiving workers within the facility
• Responsible for time and attendance tracking for those supervised
• Accountable for inventory integrity and accuracy to the ERP system
• Conducts, confirms, and reports findings of inventory Cycle Counts
• Manage inventory flow upon a First-In, First-Out basis, to the best degree possible
• Management of picking, staging, loading, and posting activity
• Management of all warehouse receiving activity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of prior management experience
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills (written and verbal)
• Spanish speaking a plus
• Strong organizational and effective time management skills
