Where: Stamford, CT | C&C – A Crete United Company
Pay: $22-26/hr DOE= benefits
Hours: M-F 7a-3:30p
C&C, a trusted name in mechanical and service excellence, is looking for a reliable and organized Warehouse Lead & Driver to join our Stamford team. As part of the Crete United platform, we bring national strength with a local focus, serving Connecticut’s top commercial and institutional clients.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of warehouse operations and assist with safe, timely material deliveries to job sites. You’ll keep materials moving and teams working because without you, the job doesn’t start.
What You’ll Do
- Manage daily shipping and receiving of HVAC, piping, and mechanical materials
- Organize, label, and stage materials and tools for crews
- Track inventory (fittings, copper, refrigerant, tools, ladders, etc.) and maintain accurate records
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Coordinate with field and office teams for project needs
- Assist with basic fleet upkeep and service coordination
- Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and equipment to job sites
- Communicate effectively with team using phone, email, and basic computer skills
What We’re Looking For
- Clean driving record & background check
- Valid CT driver’s license; DOT medical card preferred
- Warehouse, HVAC, or mechanical parts knowledge strongly preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate a forklift (or willing to become certified)
- Strong organization, reliability, and communication skills
- Self-starter who takes pride in clean, efficient operations
- Team player who can work independently and solve problems on the fly
