Summary:

The Warehouse Accountability Manager  is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory both within the warehouse and along routes. This role involves overseeing accountability procedures to guarantee that inventory aligns with physical stock, as well as monitoring, auditing, and resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records. Additionally, the manager ensures all goods are tracked and managed in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Accountability:
o    Ensure accurate tracking and accountability of inventory within the warehouse and routes including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
o    Monitor inventory levels and track product movement to verify that system records align with physical stock.
o    Conduct routine audits and cycle counts of warehouse inventory, addressing discrepancies and implementing corrective measures as needed.
o    Oversee the process of reconciling inventory records after stock movements or adjustments.

Discrepancy Resolution:
o    Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, working closely with warehouse staff to identify root causes.
o    Work with inventory control and warehouse teams to develop and implement corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies.
o    Ensure that all inventory adjustments (e.g., damaged goods, returns, or misplacements) are accurately documented and communicated.

Data Management & Reporting:
o    Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments, ensuring data integrity across warehouse management systems.
o    Generate regular reports on inventory accuracy, discrepancies, and audit findings.
o    Provide actionable insights to management based on inventory tracking and performance data.


    Process Compliance & Improvement:
o    Ensure compliance with company inventory control procedures and industry standards.
o    Identify opportunities to improve accountability processes and streamline inventory tracking and reporting practices.
o    Collaborate with other departments to ensure accountability standards are consistently applied throughout  the organization.

Collaboration:
o    Partner with warehouse staff, operations teams, and management to maintain optimal inventory accountability and ensure seamless operations.
o    Provide training and support to warehouse personnel on inventory tracking procedures, proper documentation, and best practices for accountability.

Qualifications:
•    Experience in inventory management, auditing, or a similar role.
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies quickly.
•    Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:
•    Familiarity with inventory auditing techniques and cycle counting methods.
•    Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to inventory control and warehouse operations.
•    Ability to analyze inventory data and identify trends or issues.
