Responsibilities

• Comprehensive understanding of penetration tests on various network components, applications, and systems to identify security weaknesses, and including social engineering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to simulate real-world cyberattacks and assess the organization’s defenses
• Analyze findings and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations for improving security posture
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to ensure cutting-edge testing strategies
• Assist in developing security policies and procedures based on test results to enhance overall security frameworks
• Reporting detail findings on a weekly, month and quarterly basis on vulnerabilities, on-prem, cloud and CIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering are preferred, not required.  Equivalent related certifications in the areas, will be acceptable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an appropriate domain.
• Understanding of the external threat landscape and adversary tactics & techniques.
• Knowledge in network based and agent-based vulnerability scanning software.
• Knowledge in network based and agentless vulnerability scanning specifically for cloud(AWS and Azure)
• Strong understanding in Tenable One Platform, including the cloud security capabilities
• Knowledge of ITIL and ServiceNow platform
• Technical understanding of CVSS, OWASP Top 10, SANS top 25, and Vulnerability Exploitability ratings.
• Programming knowledge is preferred at least one language, including but not limited to Ruby, Python, Powershell, or BASH.
• Knowledge and understanding in various disciplines such as security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security.
• Understanding of all phases of adversary emulation operations including reconnaissance, social engineering, exploitation, post-exploitation, covert techniques, lateral movement, and data exfiltration.
• Understanding of vulnerabilities, common attack vectors and ability to translate the attacker mindset.
• Ability to think about creative threats and attack vectors.
• Strong ability to understand our threat landscape and be able to explain to SME’s and Executive Leadership on the risks of potential exploits are not remediated from the environment.
• Strong documentation capabilities.
• Ability to communicate results to both technical and business audiences.
