Location:This role can work remotely from anywhere in the USA. You must be legally authorized to work in the US.  Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship. 
What will you do?Bixal is looking for a VP of Technology to grow and expand its technology practice. The VP will build a culture of all things digital, with established and emerging technologies, helping Bixal’s clients achieve their digital transformation goals in a way that digital is embedded in all aspects of the organization.

Experience leading a practice area. You are an expert in building the teams and processes to grow and scale a consulting team, spanning business development, proposal solutioning, staffing, and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as part of Bixal’s Executive Leadership team, setting and executing the strategic direction of the organization.
• Advise on Bixal’s strategic direction to build and enhance capabilities in emerging technologies aimed at expanding service offerings and exploring new frontiers.
• Create and embed a prioritization approach to develop a roadmap for innovation with the relevant processes, tools, and metrics to support business objectives and new growth opportunities.
• Understand business objectives and goals; define the ways in which digital technologies can enable them and translate these ideas into multi-year strategies, consulting offerings, and project roadmaps that reflect global business priorities of Bixal and its clients.
• Work with senior leadership in support of business development.
• Enhance and grow Bixal’s business in each of the areas – digital strategy, human-centered design, Agile development, emerging technologies, data analytics, strategic communications, organizational development, and learning.
• Participate in capture strategy activities, proposal development, design challenges, development of pitch decks, and delivering oral technical presentations to secure new business.
• Identify and develop processes to improve the organization’s overall operational efficiency and effectiveness, including corporate technology and IT team needs. Use data and information to drive necessary changes and optimize efforts.
• Mentor and train team members to support their professional development and career path – Have a people absolutely-first mindset, including promoting and supporting Bixal’s corporate DEI goals.
• Be accountable for developing a pool of solution architects to lead proposal work and delivery, serving as a solutions architect and/or advisor on the most complex proposals and projects, including guidance on the right tech stack, frameworks, and platforms.
• Serve as an advisor to bridge the gap between business problems and technology solutions.
• Ensure architectural adherence, quality standards, policies, and technology processes are fully met for all internal and client projects.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 15 years of related work experience in relevant positions of increasing scope and responsibility, including several years in a leadership role developing and managing teams.
