VP, Institutional Client Management
Bank of AmericaAbout the role
Job Description:
This role is designed for a high‑performing internal VP who is intellectually curious, analytically strong, and deeply familiar with how banking and markets operate. The position sits at the intersection of strategy, data, and business execution, supporting senior stakeholders with rigorous analysis and clear strategic insight.
The role does not entail formal people management, it does offer broad business exposure, ownership of complex analytical work, and direct engagement with senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic analysis: Conduct rigorous, data‑driven analysis to support business priorities across Wealth, Banking, and Markets.
- Analytical ownership: Build and interpret financial and client‑level analyses, including revenue trends, product penetration, wallet share, and opportunity sizing.
- Markets & banking perspective: Apply a strong understanding of markets, products, and banking economics to frame insights that are commercially relevant.
- Executive materials: Prepare concise, high‑quality analyses and summaries for senior leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable points.
- Opportunity identification: Identify gaps and inefficiencies across businesses (e.g., strong relationships in one area without broader product engagement).
- Cross‑functional coordination: Work closely with internal teams across coverage, finance, and strategy to ensure accuracy and alignment.
Candidate Profile
- Internal VP with strong performance credentials and demonstrated judgment.
- Solid understanding of banking and capital markets, including products, revenue drivers, and client dynamics.
- Strategic thinker who can connect analysis to real business questions.
- Clear, disciplined communicator.
