Position Summary:

League is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented VP, Account Management to play a pivotal role in driving growth through the strategic account management and revenue expansion of customer relationships. 

Reporting directly to the SVP Go-To-Market, this leader will be responsible for nurturing and growing existing relationships, identifying new opportunities within these accounts, and ensuring the long-term success and satisfaction of League’s global customers.  This leader will be part of League’s Growth Leadership Team (Growth XC) including the Chief Growth Officer, VP Sales, VP Solution Engineering and SVP International.

In this role you will:

  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for League’s customer base, outlining clear objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive revenue growth.
  • Solution Upsell & Cross-sell: Proactively identify and execute opportunities for expansion within League’s customer base, including cross-selling new products and services, and expanding the scope of partnerships.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders within League’s customer base
  • Client Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer within League’s Growth Leadership Team,, ensuring their needs and priorities are understood and addressed across relevant internal teams (Product, Marketing, etc.).
  • Contract Management: Oversee League’s portfolio of contract renewals and amendments, ensuring timely and accurate execution by League’s account management team
  • Executive Engagement: Represent League at industry events and executive-level meetings with clients.
  • Customer Health: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer health, providing regular reporting and actionable insights to internal stakeholders. 
  • Value Realization: Work with the AVP Value Realization to measure impact and ensure customers are consistently achieving their desired business outcomes and realizing the full value of League's platform and services.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • An advanced degree is a plus.10+ years of progressive experience in sales and/or account management leadership within the healthcare technology or health plan or provider industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing and growing strategic accounts.
  • Strong ability to build, manage and lead a high-performing team of sales & account management professionalsExceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with senior executives.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive measurable results.
  • Proven ability to identify and close expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
  • Understanding of the US health plan market, including payer business models, priorities, and challenges preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales productivity tools.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
