Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic sales leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with extensive experience in managing large teams and driving significant revenue growth. The role involves managing a team of sales professionals, generating inside selling activity, maintaining customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and increasing market share. The sales leader will work strategically with customers and/or strategic partners within a defined account assignment or territory, manage the performance of individual contributors and the overall team, and grow and develop talent within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a sales team of at least 25 members, ensuring high performance and achievement of sales targets.
- Oversee and drive annual recurring revenue (ARR)
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase value-added revenue and decrease cost per representative.
- Ensure the organization is selling the entire portfolio, increasing the attach rates of options and services.
- Drive alignment with field and other organizations to improve productivity and customer experience.
- Execute a pipeline review process with managers to ensure opportunities and marketing leads are moved through the sales cycle.
- Foster strong cross-functional executive alignment across various business units.
- Utilize partners effectively to grow the business, adhering to partner rules of engagement.
- Achieve revenue and profit goals in all business areas.
Customer Metrics:
- Improve ease of doing business with the company.
- Grow overall market share ahead of market growth.
Financial Metrics:
- Increase commercial revenue quarter to quarter.
- Manage and deliver on budgetary goals.
Education and Experience Required:
- University or Bachelor's degree; advanced or Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience.
- 10+ years of people management experience.
- Proven success in managing teams of at least 25 members.
- Proven experience in managing annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $50+ million. of $50+ million.
- Extensive experience in ITOM and ITSM domains
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Ability to manage internal networking sources and matrix management capabilities.
- Understanding of local and regional factors impacting sales.
- Clear understanding of business strategy and direction.
- High level of proficiency in sales processes, methods, and tools.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
