Successful applicants may have the opportunity to teach undergraduate and/or graduate teacher preparation courses if qualified. The candidate’s field of study and/or scholarship should be centered in Disability Studies or Disability Studies in Education.

Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Disability Studies, Education, or closely related field required by date of appointment and university teaching experience for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; Master’s degree in Disability Studies, Education, or closely related field by date of appointment and five years of professional experience for appointment as an Instructor.

Consideration may be given to candidates with practical knowledge of and current engagement with scholarship, leadership, and/or teaching that directly impacts disability communities, current scholarship and/or teaching in Disability Studies and/or teacher preparation with a Disability Studies in Education disposition, and experience teaching hybrid or fully online as well as face-to-face courses.
