Visiting Assistant Professor - Gender & Sexuality Studies

The Davidson College Department of Gender & Sexuality Studies (GSS) invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Gender & Sexuality Studies. Area of focus is open. The successful candidate will teach one or more core GSS courses – Introduction to Gender & Sexuality Studies, Queer & Feminist Theories, Feminist & Queer Methods – as well as electives related to the candidate’s field(s) of specialization.

Candidates should demonstrate strong interest in and the capacity for excellence in teaching, research, and mentorship in a liberal arts context, as well as the potential to support the college’s ongoing commitment to addressing critical issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our curriculum and research. Ph.D. expected by July 2025.
