About the role

Job Overview & Responsibilities

The Applications Modernization Practice Leader is responsible for the growth, market positioning, delivery quality, and practice-level financial contribution of Mythics’ enterprise applications modernization services portfolio, with primary focus on Oracle SaaS, PeopleSoft, and Oracle E-Business Suite applications. This leader will define and evolve service offerings, drive go-to-market alignment with Business Development, Sales and Presales, build scalable delivery capabilities, and ensure high-quality customer outcomes across enterprise application transformation initiatives. The role requires a balance of business leadership, consulting delivery expertise, offering strategy, and organizational development to accelerate modernization and SaaS adoption across Mythics’ customer base.

Core Leadership Responsibilities

  • Own the Practice-level contribution to consulting services growth, profitability, and operational performance
  • Define, evolve, and operationalize repeatable service offerings, solutions, and industry-aligned sales plays
  • Establish go-to-market strategies, pricing guidance, and differentiation aligned to corporate growth objectives
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Sales, and Presales on pipeline development, opportunity shaping, solutioning, estimations, and deal governance
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams of architects, consultants, developers, administrators, and technical leaders
  • Define competency models, certification strategies, and talent development roadmaps aligned to strategic growth areas
  • Collaborate with PMO and Delivery Governance to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery execution and margin performance
  • Drive customer success, executive relationships, referenceability, and long-term account expansion
  • Identify and mature reusable IP, accelerators, frameworks, and automation opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and speed-to-value
  • Contribute to strategic planning, practice roadmap development, and cross-practice alignment initiatives

Applications Modernization Practice-Specific Responsibilities

  • Define and continuously evolve enterprise applications modernization offerings across Oracle ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, and related enterprise application domains
  • Lead strategy and execution for Oracle SaaS transformation and cloud adoption initiatives
  • Develop modernization approaches for Oracle E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft customers transitioning to Oracle Cloud applications
  • Partner with Oracle alliance teams and strategic partners to strengthen market positioning and co-sell alignment
  • Increase Oracle SaaS services attach rates across enterprise application opportunities
  • Establish scalable global delivery models leveraging both onshore and offshore capabilities
  • Align delivery methodologies and accelerators to improve modernization speed, predictability, and customer outcomes
  • Provide executive-level leadership and advisory support for strategic customer engagements and transformation programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise applications consulting, delivery leadership, or practice management
  • Deep expertise across Oracle enterprise applications, including Oracle SaaS, PeopleSoft, and/or E-Business Suite
  • Proven experience leading enterprise application modernization and cloud transformation programs
  • Demonstrated success driving consulting services growth, practice development, and delivery excellence
  • Experience building and scaling global delivery organizations and offshore delivery models
  • Experience developing service offerings, go-to-market strategies, and strategic alliance relationships

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong executive presence with experience advising C-level stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of consulting financials, delivery margin management, and services operations
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally across Sales, Presales, Delivery, PMO, and executive leadership
