We are seeking a dedicated and organized Veterinary Assistant Practice Manager in Dallas, TX to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary practice. In this role, you will work alongside the Practice Manager and Managing Veterinarian (MDVM) to cultivate a positive, teamwork-driven environment where veterinarians and staff can provide high-quality medicine and exceptional client service.

You will play a key role in managing, planning, and coordinating the overall operations of the practice while driving long-term growth, maintaining compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence. This position requires strong leadership, administrative skills, and a passion for veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Practice Operations & Leadership: Manage, plan, and coordinate the practice's daily and long-term operations to ensure efficiency and a positive work environment.
  Strategic Growth & Vision: Partner with the  to develop long-term goals and strategies for practice success.
  Team Development: Foster a supportive and collaborative team culture through regular staff meetings, performance reviews, and training initiatives.
  Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to regulations from organizations such as OSHA and the DEA, maintaining a safe and legally compliant practice.
  Client Relations & Retention: Reinforce exceptional client service and satisfaction through strong communication and customer experience initiatives.
  Financial Management: Oversee payroll, accounts receivable, pricing, inventory, and overall financial health of the practice.

You Will Bring

• Prior experience in a veterinary practice, ideally in a leadership or administrative role.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with veterinary software and record-keeping systems.
• Basic knowledge of veterinary medicine and procedures.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor staff.
• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with financial management and inventory control.
• Background in client service or customer relations.
• This position requires availability for swing shift hours, including afternoons and evenings.
