We need experienced Veterinary Assistants or Certified Veterinary Assistants to provide excellent patient care with a focus on wellness and client education. We are willing to train the right person. Veterinary Assistants are responsible for assisting in providing care for the patients hospitalized in the treatment area and helping our clients and patients feel welcome in our care.

VCA All Pet Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our three-doctor practice. We are a proud AAHA provider of general practice services to the area for over 35 years. Our team has a shared devotion to provide progressive medicine with compassion as a driving force and we are eager to welcome a like-minded individual!

As a member of the VCA All Pet Taylorsville team, you will support the Technician and Doctor team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.
Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).
Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.
Maintaining medical records.
Assisting our wonderful Doctor and Technician staff as needed.
Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment
