The Opportunity

 

Join our fantastic Liquid and Hazardous team at Veolia ANZ as a Vehicle Logistics Officer (VLO).

 

Based in Welshpool 

 

In this rewarding permanent, full-time position, you'll support our Liquid and Hazardous Team

This is a varied role that includes routing allocations, queries, Drivers admin support. Reports and other admin duties.

 

Working alongside our Operations Manager and our warm, welcoming team, you'll play an essential role in keeping our services running like clockwork. If you enjoy problem-solving, building relationships, and fancy being part of a supportive workplace culture, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Coordinating bin collections to maximise route efficiency 

  • Administration including managing driver hours, billing reporting duties across the site 

  • Problem solve by responding to customer issues that are of immediate operational concern with a solutions focus

  • Respond to any operational queries raised by the Customer Services Team/Sales Team and/or customer

  • Attend daily end of driver shift meetings, capture any incidents or issues 

  • Run the monthly safety toolbox

 

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Good computer and communication skills

  • Proficient in excel, google suite, (salesforce desirable) 

  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong people skills, including a strong ability to communicate and negotiate

  • A strong focus on health and safety
