Vector Construction Internships

Vector Construction is seeking Interns for the summer of 2024. Our internship opportunities are for supporting our three US Divisions located in Fargo, ND, Cedar Rapids, IA and Decatur, IL. However, between the three Divisions, we cover all of the US projects and most of the assignments you will have, are structured around traveling out to job sites within the division's territory. This allows us to remain flexible to the location of our applicants/schools, if the desire to travel is there.

In this 12 week paid Summer Internship, you'll experience multiple facets of Vector

10 weeks of hands on field experience learning a variety of our services and technologies. For example:

• Concrete Protection

• Grouting/Injections
• Structural Strengthening
• Corrosion Mitigation

2 weeks of learning Business Operations/Development and preforming special assignments established and assigned by your career mentor

If you are a Freshman, Sophomore or Junior pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or actively enrolled in a Trade School program, have excellent leadership skills, and are eager to create a safe and highly productive workplace- we want to hear from you!

Position Overview: The Vector Internship Program (VIP) offers students the opportunity to gain a better understanding of a self-preforming specialty contractor and develop learning objectives that dive deeper into areas that align with their future career goals within the construction industry, all from a hands-on perspective. Our program consists of a diverse team supported learning experience that will focus on providing participants cross function exposure to the business, field and technologies of Vector Construction. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or enrolled in a Trades School program
• Ability to travel extensively across the US (90-100%) for on-site activities and to gain valuable field experience
• Willingness to go above and beyond to accomplish the job
• Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
• Must be well-organized and prioritize safety as the top priority
• In good physical condition and stamina - capable of repetitive bending, standing, and walking, as well as lifting and moving materials weighing 50-75 pounds
• Vector maintains a drug and alcohol-free workplace - all successful candidates will need to pass a pre-employment drug screening
