Valet Cashier

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

• Collection of guest’s money for the payment of valet parking
• Accuracy of cash drawer
• Using micros to accurately track customer’s vehicles.
• Responsible for coordinating the parking and retrieval of vehicles. 
• Maintaining security of keys in an orderly manner.
• Maintaining cleanliness of office, Casino and Hotel entrances.
• Count and record tips.
• Greeting all patrons and responding to their questions.
• Ensure the safety and security of guest and employees.
• Knowledge of all special events and promotions available to guests 
• All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid Driver’s License
• Must have schedule flexibility including evenings, weekends, holiday shifts and overtime, as needed.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers. 
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English. 
• 5 years of safe driving experience in vehicle.
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• HS diploma or GED.
• Casino/Hotel experience preferred.
• Experience within an upscale hotel preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Bell Attendant, Valet or related position is preferred.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: 

• Requires seldom sitting, kneeling, lifting/carrying of 51-100 lbs.; occasional bending, reaching, and crouching
• Copying & writing of numbers
• Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity as well as the ability to distinguish letters, symbols and currency
• Work area is subject to variable temperatures.
