UX and Visual Designer, Lead

Key Role:

Support client engagements for the User Experience (UX) and Visual Design capability and create solutions in support of communication strategies and execution, including applying UX and Visual Design skills to conceptualize and create products for digital experiences and applications. Apply visual design skills to design and produce supporting materials within established brands. Ensure consistency of brand standards and work internally with both cross-functional teams and clients. Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to produce on time and budget while maintaining quality. Exhibit teamwork with clients and members of the creative team, take direction, and solicit feedback to ensure the best possible product.  

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in web and visual design

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of Wireframing prototyping tools

• Knowledge of the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and interface design

• Knowledge of all aspects of the print process

• Ability to support and perform design work for an array of materials, including digital assets, brochures, flyers, factsheets, presentations, posters, and e-newsletters

• Ability to share knowledge and coach junior staff to enhance the technical capability of the team

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with creating infographics

• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and front-end framework methodologies

• Knowledge of brand development

• Knowledge of World Wide Web Consortium standards

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
