What this job involves:
As a Utility Data Program Manager at JLL, you will play a crucial strategic role in driving data-driven sustainability initiatives through effective management of utility data flows and vendor relationships while leading an offshore team to ensure accurate utility data collection, validation, and reporting. This leadership role combines technical expertise with program management responsibilities, requiring you to oversee comprehensive utility data management programs including multi-source utility data integration and serve as key liaison between technical teams, clients, and stakeholders. You will directly impact client satisfaction and operational efficiency in utility data management programs while contributing to JLL's commitment to sustainability and transformative real estate solutions through strategic data management and cross-functional collaboration.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead and manage offshore team in Costa Rica responsible for utility data acquisition, processing, and quality control while establishing effective communication protocols
- Oversee integration of multi-source utility data including electricity, natural gas, diesel, water, and waste while collaborating with Sustainability Program Team
- Work across global business lines and regional teams to manage delivery expectations and maintain high-quality service delivery
- Lead team in acquiring, reviewing, and validating utility data while identifying discrepancies and implementing strategic improvements for program implementation
- Serve as main point of contact for utility data management with focus on client experience and productivity as key metrics
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members while ensuring necessary training and resources for optimal performance
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with Utility Bill Management providers while implementing quality control processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in utility bill processor integration and management
- Demonstrated success in leading virtual teams across multiple time zones with proven remote management capabilities
- Experience in project and vendor management with ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software including Excel, SQL, Power BI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with client-centric attitude
- Strong organizational skills with process-driven focus and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading offshore teams, preferably in Latin America or Costa Rica
- Background in sustainability programs and utility data management systems
- Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in utility management
- Experience implementing complex utility data collection solutions and processes
- Understanding of technology and software development workflows
- Background in working with engineering teams and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in developing and implementing training programs for technical teams.

Estimated total compensation for this position:
108,500.00 – 157,300.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment
