Job Description

Background.  USAMMDA is the largest Department of Defense's (DoD) medical materiel development activity designed to protect and preserve the lives of Warfighters.  USAMMDA develops, modernizes, procures, and fields new drugs, vaccines, medical devices and support equipment that enhances readiness, ensuring the provision of the highest quality medical care to the DoD and maximizing survival of medical casualties on the battlefield.

General.  The Contractor will provide a full range of federal government HR Management Support services IAW the Office of Personnel Management, and DoD and Army personnel management policies and regulations.  Specific tasks include but are not limited to: civilian personnel performance objectives and evaluations, military officer evaluations and non-commissioned officer evaluations, civilian and military awards, taskers, alert rosters, organization chart updates, in/out-processing of personnel, welcome packages, accountability and strength reporting, maintaining personnel files and the management of the electronic personnel database, and general administrative support.   

The Contractor will prepare, edit, review, and staff civilian human resource management forms and documents submitted by USAMMDA supervisory and management personnel for signature by appropriate individuals, and will ensure all forms and documents received for staffing are properly completed, accurate, and compiled for review and signature by the appropriate approval authority.

The Contractor will notify the appropriate Human Resources POC when the packet is ready to be forwarded to the next reviewer or appropriate office and will track status during staffing to ensure timely completion. 

The Contractor will ensure the HR trackers are kept up to date and completed documents/packages are filed on the Human Resources drive. 

The Contractor will support the preparation and review of correspondence as needed.  The Contractor will prepare and maintain the file management for the Human Resources office, which includes the maintenance of the ARIMS files. 

The Contractor will coordinate the preparation of, and responses to HR related taskers. 

The Contractor will consolidate the information received by the suspense date and prepare the package for staffing through the identified command channel for approval/endorsement and submit to tasking organization by suspense date. 

The Contractor will review, update and maintain the USAMMDA alert rosters and organizational charts on a monthly basis or as needed. The Contractor will submit the finalized organizational chart to the Help Desk for publication to the USAMMDA Intranet. 

The Contractor will coordinate alert roster verifications with the appropriate Division and/or PMOs administrative assistants prior to publication and distribution.  The Contractor will prepare accountability binders as needed for key staff members. 

The Contractor will prepare and maintain the in and out-processing sheets for incoming/outgoing personnel of USAMMDA and forward as appropriate.  The Contractor will prepare welcome packets for incoming USAMMDA Military, Civilian and Contractor personnel. 

The Contractor will monitor and maintain the USAMMDA HR Mailbox by routing actions appropriately and responding to emails in a timely manner.   The Contractor will keep an inventory of awards certificates and medal sets and prepare request for new certificates and medals as needed. 

The Contractor will support the planning and set up for all awards ceremonies to include coordinating space and set up of presentation areas, awardee notifications, preparing agendas for ceremonies, and awards/certificate preparation. 

The Contractor will provide back-up support for both the USAMMDA Human Resource Manager and Human Resource Support – Military.

Education: Associate’s Degree
