About the team:
The OneLab Development and Engineering team within Walmart Global Tech’s Information Security Division is committed to maintaining a secure environment and building trust among customers, associates, and stakeholders. The team supports the ANAB-accredited eDiscovery and Forensics Lab by collaborating with business partners to identify, collect, and preserve electronically stored information for litigation and investigations. Focused on advanced security solutions, the team designs, develops, and maintains secure software systems, ensuring reliability and compliance throughout the software development life cycle while addressing stakeholder needs and promoting continuous improvement.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and address technical and business requirements for information security solutions.
- Design scalable, modular, and secure software architectures aligned with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code using Python, C#, and .NET frameworks, ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Implement automation scripts to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines, enhancing deployment efficiency and reliability.
- Lead defect analysis and resolution efforts, performing root cause investigations to improve system stability and security.
- Monitor program metrics and security telemetry to proactively identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Support cross-functional teams by translating complex requirements into functional designs and test strategies.
What you'll bring:
- Proficiency in Python, C#, and .NET development frameworks, with strong software coding and debugging skills.
- Experience designing scalable software architectures and implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively through clear communication and engagement techniques.
- Expertise in functional design, test case development, and automation to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Knowledge of software security standards and telemetry implementation to support robust information security practices.
- Strong analytical skills to assess requirements, identify risks, and drive corrective actions throughout the software lifecycle.
